I am a reporter/editor trained at one of the best journalism schools in the United States, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. As of late, I have discovered a desire to explore my Chinese heritage, particularly where it clashes with my all-too-American sensibilities. I want to use my skills to document China’s trials and tribulations as its 1 billion people fumble their way into modernity. In a more noble quest, I hope to bridge gaps between Westerners and Chinese in their misunderstandings and misconceptions of the other.
