Hi, I’m Johanna.
I am an English-language communications specialist. I can write copy for your marketing materials, edit your personal statement, or proofread your thesis. Or any other words you’ve written (or are trying to write).
My qualifications:
- B.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication (i.e. media) from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, one of the top journalism programs in the world.
- More than 10 years of freelance experience – my clients have included Fortune 500 companies, major news websites, magazines, industry press, film production companies, authors, and an art museum.
- 6 years as the communications manager of an international law firm
- 2 years as a reporter and editor in China
Additionally, I specialize in cross-culture communications. Concepts and ideas don’t always translate well between languages, but I can help you find the best way to express your message in English while staying true to the original.
